Blog Break

In a couple of days, I'm headed to Nepal to work with an organization that creates and produces social development radio programs for kids and teens. So it looks like I won't be taking any trips along I-95 for the next 7-8 months. A new trip, a new blog. I'll be trying to update my new Julie in Nepal blog weekly, so make sure to check it out.

Byyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeee!

getting back into climbing

so for my ecotourism class, i decided to go back to something i know (knew?) and write about rock climbing. remember the days that i used to consider myself a climber?? yeah, that was awhile ago. in my research and while writing my paper, i rediscovered my crush on super climber Chris Sharma. i LOVE this guy. SO good and cute, too! :) anyway, i've decided i need to get back into climbing. because i used to love it and it's so much fun. so now i'm looking for climbing walls nearby (by nearby i mean, near every place that i'm applying for internships...). until then, let's watch this... Sharma doing some of the coolest and toughest climbs. word.

I went to Spain

in January, Jenny, Katie, and I went to Spain (Madrid and Barcelona) for a week. I haven't had time to blog (sadly... I have no time for anything these days). So here's some pictures to tide you all over... and because I think I've sat on these pictures since we got back. Enjoy! And go to Spain when you can!
